I love creativity tools. Stumbled across this Divergent Thinking creativity tool, which I thought you may like to try out:
Convergent thinking is all about logical, linear and left-brained thinking, while divergent thinking is about associative and right-brained thinking. The University of Washington provide useful advice on how to stimulate divergent thinking, such as brainstorming, keeping a journal, free-writing (great for liberating ideas), and mindmapping (one of my favourite ideas-capturing techniques).
In my view businesses today need more divergent thinkers.
